Local Children's Chorus Hosts Gala Event

Winston-Salem based Central Carolina Children's Chorus is hosting a Valentine Gala at the Hawthorne Inn and Conference Center on Friday, February 12th. The venue is located at 420 High Street, and the event will begin a 6:00 p.m. 

Central Carolina Children's Chorus is an auditioned, multi-leveled choir program consisting of singers from the ages of 8 - 18, from Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Clemmons, and surrounding areas. It is a partner with the Music and Arts Ministries of Centenary United Methodist Church and an educational affiliate of Bel Canto Company. The group sings a wide variety of music each season from classical, contemporary, folk songs, gospel, and patriotic. Anne M. Saxon is the Founding Artistic Director.

The Gala will include an elegant dinner buffet, silent auction, and raffle drawing. Our special featured guest is the Sound Counsel Quartet (from Triad Harmony Express), which will perform Valentine Music. UPBEAT!, Intermediate, and ENCORE choirs will also perform.
