7:30 & 10 p.m. Thursday, February 4 – “Amélie”
Released in 2001, this inspired and strikingly beautiful French romance was one of the greatest films of the last decade. The lovely Audrey Tautou plays Amélie Poulain, a shy and lonely young woman who vows to do good deeds for acquaintances and strangers alike. Along the way, fate intervenes to connect her with the love of her life. This glorious contemporary fairytale will delight audiences young and old alike.
7:30 & 10 p.m. Thursday, February 11 – “The Princess Bride”
Speaking of fairytales, few are more exciting or fun as Rob Reiner’s beloved film “The Princess Bride.” This medieval adventure tells the story of Princess Buttercup (Robin Wright Penn), a common maiden betrothed to marry an evil prince if her beloved Wesley (Cary Elwes) cannot save the day. Featuring an all-star supporting cast that includes Billy Crystal, Mandy Patinkin, André the Giant, and Christopher Guest among many others.
