The Greensboro Fringe Festival gets Dance! On Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6, choreographer Loren Groenendaal presents her project, SOUP Movement and Sound Improvisation, at this year's festival. SOUP brings local dancers and musicians together for an evening of spontaneous creation. Dance styles include contact improvisation, modern, tap and hip hop. The common thread in both shows is that all performers will be improvising their roles in real time, so expect unique performances both nights. FRIDAY, FEB. 5 & SATURDAY, FEB. 6 Both shows begin at 8 p.m. at Studio 323 in The Greensboro Cultural Arts Center, located at 200 N. Davie Street. Tickets are $5 at the door. For more information call (336) 549-7431 or visit www.greensborofringefestival.org.
