An exciting new program at Körner’s Folly will continue the home’s tradition of culture, history, and the arts. “Körner’s Folly Paranormal Book Club” will conduct its first session on A Paranormal Casebook: Ghost Hunting in the New Millennium by Loyd Auerbach, a long-standing researcher in the field. Participants will be encouraged to discuss various aspects of the book, compare its information to investigations at Körner’s Folly, and to share their personal experiences, insights, and beliefs.
As coordinator of the program, Iris Carter is combining her skills as a writer, English instructor, and paranormal investigator with Haunted North Carolina. A North Carolina native, Iris' interests in the paranormal have paralleled personal experiences throughout her life. Iris believes there are more than two sides to any story and takes pride in being open and fair, a skill honed during her years as a journalist. Participants in these sessions will be treated to an insider’s reflections on Auerbach’s writing as well as encouraged to apply critical thinking skills to the book’s contents.
Körner’s Folly offers an outstanding location since multiple investigations have resulted in evidence of paranormal activity, as well as perpetuating Jule Körner’s affinity for the arts and the unusual.
The session spans four meetings, from 6:30-7:30 pm, on Thursdays Feb.18, March 4 and 18, and April 1. The cost for the entire session is $40 per person and does not include the book. Books are available through most literary outlets or online. Participants can register online at www.kornersfolly.org. Additional information is available by emailing IrisinNC@aol.com or calling (336) 996-7922.

Interesting (and flattering) to see my book in this context. Let me know if I can help with additional information. Loyd Auerbach, MS www.mindreader.com
