Making Plates Instructor: Po-Wen Liu February 20th, 10:00am to 3:00pm (Break for lunch) This workshop will focus on making plates in various sizes as well as styles. Ceramic artist Po-Wen Liu will demonstrate both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques to produce 6” to 18” plates. Various critical topics in plate making, such as trimming, placement of foot rim(s), glazing, and firing will be addressed in this workshop. Cost: $50
