Good Night 2009 and Good Luck in 2010…A Grand Finale to the New Year’s Celebration! RSVP to 336-883-3022

The High Point Historical Society is hosting a New Year’s celebration January 3 at 6:30 pm at Mamma Mia’s in High Point. This Italian theme fundraiser will feature a special menu inspired by a traditional New Year’s meal. 

“There is no better way to kick off the New Year than by spending it with friends, family and colleagues helping the High Point Historical Society,” Terry Aiken, chair of the fundraising and membership committee for the historical society, said. “This is going to be a quality event to highlight our wonderful Museum. The Museum is a treasure that we all can be proud of and need to support.”

The evening will be filled with entertainment provided by the Piedmont Opera as well as strolling musicians. A raffle with a variety of local items (most valued at over $100) including wine, gift certificates, jewelry, furniture and a behind the scenes tour at the Museum will be held with the drawing at the end of the evening.

Tickets to the event are $50 per person and can be ordered online at www.highpointmuseum.org/store. You also can contact Teresa Loflin at 883-3022 or teresa.loflin@highpointnc.gov. Checks can be sent to the Museum and be made out to the High Point Historical Society. All proceeds will benefit the High Point Historical Society to fund programs and exhibits at the High Point Museum.

Its party casual and a cash bar will be available. A vegetarian meal is available upon request at the time reservation is made.

Two sponsorship levels are available – Grande for $500 and includes a table of 4, centerpiece and a family membership to the High Point Historical Society; and Grandissimo for $1,000 and includes a table of 8, centerpiece and a corporate membership to the High Point Historical Society.
