    The new exhibition, "Welcome To The Gate City!" takes visitors back in time to the arly 1900s. Guests can walk through reconstructed commercial and civic buildings and see how Greensboro transformed from a small Southern town to a vibrant city. Visitors can view vintage moving pictures in the Crystal Theatre, listen in on a conversation at the local "Telephone Exchange, become a pharmacist at the Richardson-Farris Drugstore, learn a lesson Miss Lina Porter's Schoolhouse and discover what work life was like for firemen. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m -5 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. Closed on Mondays
