Winds, Brass & Percussion Festival

On Saturday, January 16th, The Music Academy of North Carolina will host its first Annual Winds, Brass & Percussion Festival. Performers will play for comments and critiques from a panel of faculty members between 9am and 12pm. Anyone interested in preparing for All-County, District, or State Band auditions, or simply receiving feedback on their playing should participate! The festival is open to the community for a fee of $12 per performer. The deadline to sign up for the festival is Friday, January 8th. 

A masterclass covering All-County audition material preparation will be held from 12pm to 1pm by Wayne Bennett, brass instructor at The Music Academy of North Carolina. Non-Music Academy students are encouraged to attend at a fee of $10 a person.
