The opening reception for Five Painters of Poetic Narrative, the spring exhibition at Gallery 115, will take place on Saturday, April 21 from 5:30-8:30 pm, with wine, hors d’oeuvres and live music. The multi-tradition, strong figurative works of artists Michael Northuis, Fritz Janschka, Michael Ananian, Katie Claiborne, and Mark Kinglsey are brought together for an exhibition rooted in realism, with heightened and engaged imagination. The exhibition runs from April 21 through July 21, 2007. There are also new offerings in the gallery shop@115, a unique and growing retail space that is a continuation of the Gallery 115 experience. The gallery shop@115 features finely crafted, passionately realized art jewelry and imaginatively designed home accoutrements from nationally recognized artists and designers. Gallery 115 is located at 115 Pomona Drive in Greensboro, between Spring Garden and West Market Street, and has ample, accessible and free parking.
