Auditions for Perseus in Suburbia, a new musical. World premiere at the Greensboro Fringe, February 4-6, 2010. Synopsis: The citizens of gated community Joppa Hill, panicking over the threat of intruders, decide to save themselves by sacrificing local hippie Andromeda to a giant desert snake. When heroic Perseus, fresh from slaying the dread Gorgon of Oregon, arrives to save her, he decides to arm the town against any future intrusion. But is the solution worse than the problem? Auditions are at the Cultural Arts Center, room 108, first floor. Bring a prepared song and accompaniment. You will be asked to read sides from the script. 7:00 - 10:00 p.m., December 7, 2009
