On Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 4:00 p.m. the Music Academy of NC is hosting a FREE demonstration/mini-performance by professional balalaika musicians from Russia, in our Allen Recital Hall. (Balalaikas are Russian folk guitars.) The Wednesday demonstration is a pre-event to a free 7:30 concert on Friday, Nov. 13, by the same balalaika musicians, co-hosted by The Music Academy as a tribute to Pam Allen, our former board chair who deceased in June.
