Christ United Methodist Church invites the public to “Follow the Star: A Journey to the Manger” on Friday, December 4 from 6-8pm and Saturday, December 5 from 5:30-8pm. This unique event is a thirty-five minute guided walking tour that takes visitors from station to station to experience the birth of Christ. At the stations, visitors will encounter Mary, the mother of Jesus, a priest at the temple, peasants at the marketplace, the innkeeper and his wife and the shepherds. Learn how each of these extraordinary people, like all of mankind, find their place in the birth of Christ. Each tour concludes at the manger featuring a live nativity with the Holy family and shepherds. Guided tours run every 6 minutes with the last tour departing at 7:30 pm. This event is free and open to the community. Christ United Methodist Church is located at 410 N. Holden Road, Greensboro, NC 27410.
