In celebration of Veteran’s Day kids will investigate the history of some of our country’s most recognizable symbols. Red, White and Blue will be the colors of the day as kids make patriotic works of art. Kids in this workshop will: • Learn about the history of American symbols through selected works of art • Create a 3 dimensional hanging star • Make their own artful American flag • Work in paint and clay to create their own interpretation of patriotic art
