    A grassroots group of Winston-Salem residents will rally to support strong climate legislation as part of a global International Day for Climate Action, organized by 350.org.

    The group will rally and have petitions signed at the following locations:

    From 6-10 a.m.: The corner of University Parkway and Coliseum Drive.

    From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: The corners of Peters Creek and Silas Creek parkways; New Walkertown Road and North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive; Robinhood Road at North Peacehaven Road; Hanes Mall Boulevard at South Stratford Road; Carver School Road and New Walkertown Road; and Waughtown Street at Reynolds Park Drive.

    The group will also show the film "Everything's Cool" from 7-9 p.m. at Temple Emanuel, 201 Oakwood Drive, Winston-Salem. The film features a renowned cast of scientists, journalists and activists discussing Climate Change and the actions people can take.
