There is a very old cemetery behind the Greensboro Historical Museum, developed and used by the congregation of First Presbyterian Church beginning in the 1830s when they attended services on this site. Ghost stories in the cemetery are a Museum tradition with veteran storyteller Cynthia Brown spinning her spooky tales for many years. Once again, at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 24th, she will weave her eerie yarns for the young, age five and up, and the young at heart. The audience, bracing against any chill in their brought-along blankets and their creaky old lawn chairs, assists in setting a fun and scary mood. The wind howls with the children’s help - - AHHHOOOooooo, dry leaves rustle, rustle, rustle underfoot, old chains CLANK and CLUNK. Ready, set … BOO!
