Guilford College Cross Country and Track & Field would like to invite you to dinner with 1964 Olympic Gold Medalist at 10,000 meters, Billy Mills. At six o’clock on Friday evening, November 13, 2009, Billy Mills will speak to a large group of runners from middle schools, high schools and colleges all over the southeast. The dinner with Billy Mills is part of the Distance Runners Endurance Gala weekend hosted by Guilford College Athletics.

The Distance Runners Endurance Gala weekend begins at 3:00pm on the campus of Guilford College with a meet & greets autograph session with Billy Mills. Billy will be available from 3:00-4:00pm in the lobby of Founders Hall. There is no cost for
the afternoon session. The next event is the Distance Runners Endurance Gala trade show which opens at 5:00pm at the Clarion Hotel at I-40 and Guilford College Road. The running themed trade show will be open until 9:00pm.

3:00pm North Carolina High School Meet of Champions Girls 5K
3:45pm North Carolina Middle School X-C Championships Boys 3K
4:15pm North Carolina Middle School X-C Championships Girls 3K

    Tickets: Advanced tickets to the Buffet Style Pasta dinner and Motivational presentation are $15 per person or $20 at the door. To order advance tickets send email to casonw@guilford.edu.
