Each Friday in October, the Carousel Luxury Cinemas presents Midnight Madness: Friday Night Frights, a weekly horror film festival with costume contests themed around each movie. The festival continues on midnight Friday, October 16 with the terrifying modern classic "Audition." A lonely Japanese widower becomes inspired to hold an audition for a non-existent film in order to pick up women. He becomes fascinated by one particular young woman, but first impressions can often be horribly wrong. Directed by Japanese horror master Takeshi Miike, this foreign horror classic is the scariest movie of the last decade! If this movie doesn't scare you, nothing will. Contest theme – Turning Japanese – Pay homage to the country that gave us Karaoke and Ramen by dressing up like something from Japan (i.e. a samurai, Godzilla, an anime character, etc.).
