Ten days into filming the now famous “burning of Atlanta” scene from Gone with the Wind, Selznick frantically decides the current script just won’t work! He hires legendary Chicago journalist and playwright, Ben Hecht to re-write the script in its entirety in less than five days. Rounding out the hilarity is the larger-than- life director, Victor Fleming, who Selznick has pulled from the set of The Wizard of Oz in a last ditch effort to save his big-budget epic. Self-sequestered by Selznick in his office for a week, the three men build a brand new script, with director and producer acting every scene. The production stars local favorites Anthony Liguori, Don Gunther, Chad Edwards and Cheryl Ann Roberts.

Really enjoyed the show! Four actors kept the stage rocking--wasn't bored for a second. Always amazed at the energy the actors have and their capacity to memorize so many lines.
