      Discussion on changing interpretations of historic architecture. Jo Ramsay Leimenstoll, AIA Professor and Director of Graduate Study Department of Interior Architecture, University of North Carolina at Greensboro and author of "Thomas Day: Master Craftsman and Free Man of Color" will present "The Architectural Legacy of Thomas Day". Thomas Day was a freed slave artisan, who produced furniture and architectural carved wood work for boom era plantations in the Southeast. From Stagville Plantation Kimberly Puryear and Alton Mitchell the interim and new site managers will speaking about the site and the changes in the interpretation of the house and adjacent buildings including the slave quarters which is the subject of one of Elizabeth Matheson's photographs.       Discussion on changing interpretations of historic architecture.
