Del Rey has been called an "extraordinary guitarist, engaging entertainer and unique ukulele stylist." Acoustic Guitar magazine referred to her as "...one of the greatest modern players of the metal-bodied resonator guitar." And she refers to herself as "Trailer trash with a library card and 43 years of doing nothing but play guitar." She has performed for Fiddle & Bow a couple of times in the past but not for several years. She is touring in support of her latest album "Blue Uke," a wonderful collection of original songs and covers of songs by the likes of Barbecue Bob, Jimmy Dupre and Charley Jordan. There is never a dull moment at a Del Rey concert!
