GUILFORD COURTHOUSE NATIONAL MILITARY PARK HOSTS TEWLFTH ANNUAL REVOLUTIONARY WAR LECTURE SERIES Guilford Courthouse National Military Park and Tannenbaum Historic Park announce the Annual Revolutionary War Lecture Series for March 13 through 16, 2007. The evening lecture programs begin at 7 PM each night in the visitor center theater of Guilford Courthouse National Military Park located at 2332 New Garden Road in northwest Greensboro. Reservations are Required and may be made by calling (336) 288-1776. This year’s lecture topics and distinguished speakers will be: • Tuesday, March 13: “The Footsteps of Daniel Boone During the American Revolution”, Randell Jones, Historian and Author • Wednesday, March 14: “The Shot Heard ‘Round the Neighborhood: The South Fork Dutch During Cornwallis’ Invasion”, Dr. Gary Freeze, Historian and Author • Thursday, March 15: “Hessian Troops in the American Revolutionary War”, Donald Smidt, Historian • Friday, March 16: “Guilford Courthouse, One Historian’s Perspective”, John Durham, Guilford Courthouse National Military Park Historian
