AEG Live has announced that AC/DC, the legendary rock and roll band will bring its widely-anticipated and critically acclaimed Black Ice World Tour to Greensboro Coliseum on Sunday, October 25. The Greensboro tour stop comes on the back of the release of the hugely successful Black Ice album. Released globally in October, 2008, Black Ice debuted at number one in a staggering 29 countries, including the U.S. Black Ice is AC/DC's first new album in over eight years and it's evident the band is still an incredible force in rock. Black Ice has been certified multi-Platinum in 18 countries, including the US, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Italy, Argentina and the Czech Republic. The October 25th concert will mark the group’s ninth appearance at the Greensboro Coliseum and its first since 2001’s Stiff Upper Lip tour. AC/DC opened the North American leg of its Ballbreaker tour in Greensboro in January of 1996 before a sold-out crowd of 15,899. AC/DC made its Greensboro debut on December 18, 1977 and have played to over 97,000 fans over its eight previous Coliseum appearances.

      Loved watching the most legendary rock band alive!! Great show, great venue!! However, something seriously needs to be done or announced to protect the people attending events in Greensboro relating... Expand

      Loved watching the most legendary rock band alive!! Great show, great venue!! However, something seriously needs to be done or announced to protect the people attending events in Greensboro relating to the alcohol in the parking lot policy. I recieved a ticket for $150 just like many many many others did that day for drinking liquor in the parking lot!! BS! The coliseum needs to post that policy on its website and tickets!! We had no idea you could drink beer and wine in the parking lot, but no liqour. Unless the coliseum does something to rectify this problem, I will never attened another event there. Collapse

      They did not disappoint in delivering the kind of high voltage you would expect from an AC/DC concert. If you are a rock n roll fan and would like to take a look into the rock n roll legends... Expand

If you are a rock n roll fan and would like to take a look into the rock n roll legends book.....don't miss this show. Brian Johnson "loves his job" and its easy to see....Angus knows his place in the history books is firmly placed and he shows why.....Malcolm, Cliff, and Phil are the wheels and fuel to the machine....from marching out to deliver some of the most well know back up lyrics ever, to cooly smoking a cig while drumming, it's pure grade A rock from start to finish.       THis was a awesome show and they played the same set list as in Charlotte 2008. Angus & Malcom Young, Brian, and rest put on a high energy show. The time went by very quickly and I wish they could... Expand

      THis was a awesome show and they played the same set list as in Charlotte 2008. Angus & Malcom Young, Brian, and rest put on a high energy show. The time went by very quickly and I wish they could have played some more but we'd been there all night. The Answer band from Northern Ireland did a good job of opening up. The crowd was full of energy when AC/DC was started playing and the band seemed to get energy back. Brian said "we're definitly in the south again". It was definitly worth going and a great concert!!
