Milsap has always moved successfully between genres, amassing 40 #1 records, ten gold and platinum albums and six Grammy awards along the way. Known best for his country tunes, if you were to hear his latest venture, you would probably have no idea the singer on “Just For A Thrill” is a country artist. After all, it’s a pop album of classic standards without an ounce of twang, an album that Milsap has been waiting decades to make. Said his friend, Ray Charles, “You got a lot of music in your heart, son. You need to follow your heart.” And so he did!

      I have been a Ronnie Milsap fan for nearly 30 years. I was not a country music fan and reluctantly went to my first Milsap concert in the 80's. He was the best all-around performer I had ever seen.... Expand

      I have been a Ronnie Milsap fan for nearly 30 years. I was not a country music fan and reluctantly went to my first Milsap concert in the 80's. He was the best all-around performer I had ever seen. I have loyally supported his concerts in North Carolina and Virginia ever since. Although his stage performance is more subdued due to age (no more jumping off of pianos and stunts on stage), his performance is still a "class-act" and one that you would not want to miss. His singing style and inspiration to reach others is felt by the audience. Collapse
