Donna Hughes in concert

Donna Hughes is a native of Trinity, NC and holds a degree in history from High Point University. As well as being an excellent songwriter in the bluegrass style she has also taught gymnastics and practiced real estate. Her latest album, “Gaining Wisdom,” was produced by bluegrass legend Tony Rice and features the talents of Alison Krauss, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Sam Bush and Rhonda Vincent. 

Her songs have been recorded by Alison Krauss and the Seldom Scene. Donna is an excellent singer and plays piano as well. “Gaining Wisdom” is mostly Hughes originals with a cover of Tim Stafford’s “Find Me Out On a Mountain Top” and Cyndi Lauper’s Time After Time.”

      My wife and I drove from Burlington to Winston-Salem to attend this concert only to learn that the incorrect date was given on your website.
