Persian New Year Celebration

That tickets for our Norooz 1386 (Persian New Year 2007) celebration, on Saturday, March 24th, are now available. Join the largest gathering of North Carolina's Iranian community for an evening of delicious Persian food, classical Persian music with dinner, and then an exciting night of dancing to the magical mixings of DJ Shahrokh and the best of Persian pop. Mark your calendars now, and fill a table with your family and friends! We've booked George K's stunning Sky Room for 300 dinner guests. We had 250 at our party last year, and we anticipate more attendees this year, so get your tickets early. Tickets are $35 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under. Iranian-owned or managed businesses in the Triad have really risen to the occasion this year to support our community's biggest event. First it was Samnaz Inc. of Winston-Salem to contribute, and now A&V Company, Agence Global, V-Link, and the Sheraton Four Seasons, all in Greensboro, have generously given a combined total of $2,000 to support the Persian Cultural Center's Norooz Celebration. Since ticket sales alone don't cover the entire cost of the event, their support is crucial to having a successful Norooz Party.
