    Center City Park invites you to join us for Tunes @ Noon every Wednesday throughout October. The featured performer for the August 26, 2009 weekly lunchtimes series will be Donna Hughes. Donna Hughes is a North Carolina born singer/songwriter. A graduate of High Point University, Donna began writing and recording in earnest in 1996, composing over 250 songs since. Alison Krauss and Union Station recorded Hughes’ original song My Poor Old Heart for their Lonely Runs Both Ways album. Her first nationally-release album, Gaining Wisdom, was produced by the legendary Tony Rice and features contributions from artists like Mary Chapin Carpenter, Alison Krauss, Rhonda Vincent, and Carl Jackson.
