Victory Junction Race/walk, car show, day of fun

Car show ($20 to register), 5k run/1 mile fun walk ($20 to register) and free admission to come join the fun, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at CV Products Inc., 42 High Tech Blvd., Thomasville. All proceeds benefit Victory Junction, the children's camp founded by NASCAR racer Kyle Petty in honor of his son Adam. There will be celebrity appearances, a bounce house, a petting zoo, a raffle and a dog adoption fair, including pooches from Ruff Love Dog Rescue. Race registration is 8 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. for the 9 a.m. race. Car registration is 9-11 a.m. For more info, call Melissa at 336-472-2242.
