    Burlington will turn back the hands of time and have the original Independence Day Celebration at the Burlington City Park as they did many years ago. Remember the sack races, coins in the haystack, the water balloon toss, and watermelon eating contests? It’s all back by popular demand. The Magnificents will perform at 6pm and The Company Shops Concert Band will take the stage at 9:15pm and perform during the launching of the aerial fireworks display. This event is for the young and the young at heart, so make plans now for an evening of fun, music, and fireworks. Food and drink concessions will also be available throughout the park.
