    When Peggy, a good Christian woman, hits her head on the sink and bleeds to death after tripping over her lover's wooden legs in a motel room, chaos erupts in Winters, Texas as three generations of her family gather for her funeral and we learn the hilarious, sad, trashy truth of their "Sordid Lives."

    After Sordid Lives the Winston-Salem Theatre Alliance presents their 26th season titled Southern Comforts with: The Great American Trailer Park Musical (August 2009); Spend the Night with…The Legends (September 2009); RENT (October 2009); Daughters of the Lone Star State (November 2009); Christmas My Way: A Sinatra Holiday Musical Bash (December 2009); ‘Night Mother (January 2010); Forever Plaid (February 2010); Spooky Dog and the Teenage Gang Mysteries (March 2010); The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife (April 2010); and Hank Williams: Lost Highway (May 2010).
