Face to Face 'Word of Mouth' event at Studio B

The kick-off experience on April 21 that welcomed over 100 people to Triad Stage’s UpStage Cabaret to meet new friends and learn about issues concerning young people of Greensboro continues on Tuesday, May 26. Face to Face, a group of young people for young people of Greensboro with a mission to raise community awareness and promote positive change introduces its next event to be held at 7:30pm at Studio B at 520 S. Elm St. in Downtown Greensboro. The second in the WOM (Word of Mouth) series welcomes culturally diverse and free-thinking citizens to engage in discussion about political, environmental and social topics and meet new and interesting people in a casual and open environment. Enjoy Studio B’s three floors, including a roof-top terrace, and a cash bar. This event is free to the public. Find parking on Elm street and at parking lot at the corner of Elm & MLK Jr. Dr. Enter Studio B through alleyway next to 520 S. Elm building. WOM (Word of Mouth) is one of three platforms under the umbrella of Face to Face as well as Soap Box Salon and GroundUp. Each individual program is part of the collective goal that is aimed to reach the young population of Greensboro between the ages of 22-40, from all backgrounds and ethnicities and from all sectors of the city to create an environment that stimulates interest in current issues and trends, offers concrete knowledge and encourages and provides a vehicle for ground-level, short-term and long-term change.
