Running of the Green

The Greensboro Children's Museum will host its first ever 5K Race and Family Fun Run/Walk called The Running of the Green on Saturday, June 6th at 8am. The official timed race will start and end at The Greensboro Children’s Museum located at 220 North Church Street and will follow a scenic route through downtown Greensboro and historic Fisher Park. After the run, there will be a special Kids Dash race starting at 9:15am. 

 

People can register online at www.gcmuseum.com or they can turn in, mail in or fax a race registration form located at the Museum to 336-574-3810. Race entrance fees are $25 for the 5K Race and Family Fun Run and $5 for the Kids Dash per entry. Participants who sign up are encouraged to form a team with friends or make it a family event and help raise funds for the Museum. Prizes will be awarded for top male and female in each age group and to the individuals or team who raise the most money.

Every participant receives a t-shirt

Prizes awarded for top finishers and top fundraisers!

 

Proceeds go to support operations and programs at The Greensboro Children’s Museum.
