World-renowned naturalist Jack Hanna will be at the Natural Science Center the evening of May 15 for a special “Journeys with Jack” evening gala event (6:30 – 10:00 p.m) filled with amazing animals! Although eight to twelve spectacular species from the World Famous Columbus Zoo will be kept a SURPRISE unveiled only to event attendees, Jack is proud to announce HALF of the evening’s featured guests: a white-handed gibbon, baboon, vervet monkey, black and white ruffed lemur, eagle owl, yellow-headed vulture, eight-foot crocodile, five-foot monitor lizard and a giant python! In addition to the special one hour performance by Jack Hanna and his awe-inspiring creatures, attendees at this enchanted evening will enjoy mingling with Jack, eating delicious, unique foods from all over the globe, and participating in games, a silent auction and a live auction led by WFMY News 2’s Eric Chilton. Don’t miss this opportunity to journey all over the earth as we visit North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Antarctica and even a mysterious Lost Continent! Tickets are now on sale - $100/person. Adults only. To purchase a ticket, contact Lindsey Shiflet at (336) 288-3769 ext. 385. Limited number of seats available.
