Featured Performers Candice Burrows-Hemm & Friends - A veteran of performances under the direction of Seiji Ozawa, John Williams, and Andre Previn, and Leonard Bernstein, Candi is fresh off UNCG Opera’s world premiere of Libby Larsen’s adaptation of William Inge’s Pulitzer Prize winning play Picnic. Local jazz enthusiasts will remember Candi as the vocalist on Chris Robinson’s award winning debut CD, This Is Chris Robinson. Our resident Mezzo Soprano will perform classical and jazz standards. Sykes & Emmett Violin Duet - Greensboro Symphony Orchestra veterans Jeannie von Berg Sykes and Andrew Emmett will perform a stirring short program. Christ United Methodist Church Flute Choir - With new flutes in hand and many hours of private lessons and group rehearsals under their belts, this adult ensemble derives great joy in performing inspirational hymns, marches, and Celtic pieces for local audiences. Congregational Worship Choir - Prepare to be lifted into His Presence on the wings of familiar sacred hymns.
