Add Review/Comment
the High Point University Toccatatones will offer a charitable concert in Hayworth Fine Arts Center to benefit VH1’s Save the Music Foundation. The concert is free of charge and open to the public. The doors will open at 6 PM and the show will begin at 7 PM. Each spring, the Toccatatones offer a free concert in the school’s theater, to a typically packed audience. In its endeavor to continue being an active part of the community, the group is partnering with the Save the Music Foundation in its upcoming concert to raise money for the continuation of emphasis on music education in United States schools. All 11 members of the Toccatatones developed their musical abilities in school and know the importance of such education. Donations will be gratefully accepted in advance and at the door. The concert will feature selections from all genres and decades of music and will last approximately two hours. Among the Toccatatones’ guest groups will be the Petal Points, also of High Point University. One of the area’s premier male collegiate a cappella groups, the Toccatatones group has been in existence since 2001 and has performed for all types of audiences, ranging from Fortune 500 professionals and professional sports teams to students and even former United States presidents. For more information on the concert or the Save the Music Foundation, please check out the Toccatatones Web site at www.toccatatones.com.
