Art Alliance of Greensboro 2009 Art Camps
July 13-July 17, 2009
Week 3 7/13-7/17, ages 6-8 Art is an Animal! 8:30-12:30 We’ll create a zoo of art-animals! Papier mache Oaxacan-patterned animals, an African walking cane, Catawba animal pot, a beetle book, pet portraits and more! And you will leave with an artistic license! Cost $120 Drawing, Painting & Pottery, 1:00-5:00 Students will do it all- half the class will be drawing and painting projects, half the class will work in clay. Be sure to bring a snack- having fun is hard work. Cost: $120

This sculpture class is lots of fun. Jim Barnhill (famous for the General Greene statue that was just unveiled) is a great teacher. This class does not require art talent or experience!
