BB&T Beach Music In The Park

2009 BB&T Beach Music Concert Series.  Join us for the 6th Annual Award Winning BB&T Beach Music In The Park concert series in downtown Greensboro! All proceeds go directly to CHS to support our mission of "promoting the right of every child to a permanent, safe, and loving home." The 2009 BB&T Beach Music Concert series will run every Thursday from May 14 to June 25 at Kathleen Price Bryan Park (Festival Park). We have amazing musicians - The Craig Woolard Band, The Band of Oz, The Embers, The Chairman of the Board, and more! Tickets are just $7 per person and this year Beach Music in the Park will include free food from the areas finest restaurants presented by Southern Foods Beach Music Bistro! Featured restaurants such as Undercurrent, 223 South Elm, Fincastle's, Table 16, 1618, Bistro Sofia, Smith Street Diner, Southern Lights, McCouls, and Leblon!May 14 - The Attraction

May 21 - Band of Oz

May 28 - Craig Woolard Band

June 4 - The Embers at The Empire Room, 203 S. Elm St. in Greensboro

June 11 - Billy Scott and the Prophets

June 18 - Chairman of the Board

June 25 - Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs

      We love taking the family to this event but the organizers should address the youth that stand completely monopolize the dance floor just standing and talking while those of us who come to dance can't... Expand

      We love taking the family to this event but the organizers should address the youth that stand completely monopolize the dance floor just standing and talking while those of us who come to dance can't enjoy ourselves. Many have been knocked down by these enthusiastic kids. Collapse

      The dance floor was jammed by people last year who were not dancing! Mostly young inconsiderate people who were "grouping". Please find a better place to mingle or at least dance as a group.
