Hearing Her Breathe
March 20-March 21, 2009
Add Review/Comment
Hearing Her Breathe is an evening length dance work conceived of and developed by MFA candidate Elizabeth Lane. The concert is an autobiographical sketch dealing with the universal experience of the body in movement, striving, falling, attempted attaining, and the pathways of living into answers of unknown questions. Hearing Her Breathe is a contemporary work demonstrating through collage the choreographer’s artistic background of fine art, commercial dance, and theater, thus providing a stimulating show through theatrical work. The extreme physicality of the work builds a kinesthetic experience for the viewer, who will recognize the movement in his/her bones.
