Eric Taylor’s concert for Fiddle & Bow last March was one of the finest concerts we’ve had since moving into Blessings. Eric has the whole package as a performer - outstanding songwriting, great musicianship and a wry, offbeat sense of humor. Like Chuck Brodsky, Eric is a storyteller in song and a true poet of the songwriter scene. 

Lyle Lovett has said that any time he’s on the same bill with Eric, he feels like he’s the opening act. Nanci Griffith has referred to him as the William Faulkner of American songwriters. His latest album, “Hollywood Pocketknife,” is as fine an example of the songwriter’s art as you’ll find.

His lyrics are often stunning in their ability to evoke a particular emotion or nail a feeling down. He is not to be missed!
