Princess Dance Camp for 3-6 year olds
July 6-July 10, 2009
Come be a princess for a day or half a day! You can go to CVA in the morning for Princess art camp and come be a dancing princess in the afternoon! The day includes a nap, movement, snacks, ballet, creative arts and a showing!

If doing the whole day camp, check with CVA to see what time their camp starts. If doing the ballet only portion of the camp, you may come at 1 or 2. 1pm attendees take a nap. -

I have been a volunteer for this program since it started. I love every minute spent with the little girls and boys that are in the program. Volunteering with Dancing Above the Barre has helped me as a person and has helped me make a decision about furthering my education. I want to pursue my masters in Special Education. I love Dancing Above the Barre, and I will continue to volunteer for as long as I can!!! Collapse

I appreciate very much the fact that the Greensboro Ballet presents its students in such a appropriate manner. The students present excerpts from classical ballets and are simply and modestly costumed... Expand
I appreciate very much the fact that the Greensboro Ballet presents its students in such a appropriate manner. The students present excerpts from classical ballets and are simply and modestly costumed (free of charge, thank you very much.) Their jazz dances demonstrate a strong technique along with showmanship, minus any inappropriate movements or gestures. Again, costuming is appropriate for a young lady. Thank goodness my daughter studies where she will be presented in a manner that generates pride in her accomplishments without exploiting her as some sort of "idol" character. Bravo, GB! Collapse

I just saw the School Show version of this performance with my children's classes this morning and it was wonderful! This condensed version was so great that I am going to take my daughter again later this weekend to the full-length version. Can't believe these talented and gorgeous dancers are all from Greensboro/Triad! This will definitely become an annual event for our family for many, many holidays to come. Collapse
