Fashion Boot Camp Summer 2009

A series of Project Runway "like" clinics. Perfect for juniors and seniors who are intending on going to college for a fashion degree. In this 5 day camp you'll learn about fashion illustration, creating your portfolio, draping, millinery-hat making, technical apparel design, Computer Aided Design and buying for the fashion industry. The week will culminate with a fashion show of the designers accomplishments and winner reception. The camp is limited to 20 person per session. Dates to be finalized but will be 3 weeks in June and July 2009. Location is currently being scouted. Each participant will receive a bevy of sewing tools, portfolio, sketch pad and pencils, t-shirt, photographs of their work and so much more! The event will be woven with life skills such as yoga, focus, self empowerment, and goal setting. It is my goal to secure scholarship opportunities to share with these fierce campers!
