     The Peace & Justice Network is holding its first annual Concert for Peace, Justice & Sustainability featuring Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Eliza Gilkyson, with opening remarks by author and activist Robert Jensen. The concert is part of a day of alliance building for the peace, justice and sustainability communities--or more information go to www.peace-justice.net.

    Heard regularly on everything from Austin City Limits to NPR, Eliza will be making her first appearance in Greensboro.

    The concert will open with remarks by Eliza’s husband Robert Jensen. An outspoken professor of journalism at the University of Texas, Robert set off a controversy shortly after September 11, 2001 when he wrote that the attacko n the World Trade Center "was no more despicable than the massive acts of terrorism...that the U.S. government has committed during my lifetime." His soon-to-be-published memoir is entitled All My Bones Shake: Seeking a Progressive Path to the Prophetic Voice.
