The Triad Intentional Communities Network (TICN) is a group that meets monthly in Greensboro to explore how to develop energy-efficient cohousing developments in the city and county.

The March 12 speaker is Jonathan Peterson from Democracy NC. He will speak on helping the group organize to change attitudes and policies to make the city more friendly to the formation of intentional communities and green lifestyles.

On April 9, UNCG professor Charlie Headington will speak about sustainability and permaculture.

Both meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. for newcomers with the program from 6-7:30 at the fellowship hall of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 501 S. Mendenhall St.

For more information, contact Mitch Mitcham at 292-2770 or coordinator Carolyn Biggerstaff at 852-6272 or euphie@bellsouth.net.
