The Coming Plague - Laurie Garrett (Pulitzer Prize-Winning Authority on Global Health on Disease Prevention Senior Fellow for Global Health at the Council on Foreign Relations) makes plain the science behind new threats to public health, both natural and man-made, and the politics that sometimes help, and sometimes hinder, how we prepare, treat and respond to them. UNCG Campus/Jaylee Mead Auditorium, Sullivan Science Building, 301 McIver Street. Lecture is free and open to the public, Free Parking in the McIver Parking Deck, 1100 McIver St., UNCG Campus
