    The Coming Plague - Laurie Garrett (Pulitzer Prize-Winning Authority on Global Health on Disease Prevention Senior Fellow for Global Health at the Council on Foreign Relations) makes plain the science behind new threats to public health, both natural and man-made, and the politics that sometimes help, and sometimes hinder, how we prepare, treat and respond to them.
