A Cappella Jam For Hope, a concert benefiting The Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem, will be held at Reynolds Auditorium on Saturday, February 7th at 7 p.m. The concert will feature a cappella groups from nearby colleges: UNC-Greensboro’s Spartones and Another Level from Appalachian State, Wake Forest University’s Minor Variation and the Furman University FUtones, and a new group from UNC-Wilmington, High Seas. Reynolds High School’s two a cappella groups, Vox Demoni and Syncopate, will also perform. Jeffrey Griffin, voice of the WFU Demon Deacons, will return as emcee for the event. A minimum donation of $5.00 will be requested at the door, and proceeds from the concert will go benefit The Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem, a non-profit organization that provides a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children who are receiving medical care in our community's hospitals. The House and Family Room programs offer physical comforts, emotional support, education, and referral services designed to promote the well-being of the whole family.

      One of the best concerts that I've been to in a long time. What wonderful students they all were for supporting a great cause. Their parents and schools should be very proud of them. I know I am.... Expand

      This is going to be a high quality event. At the recent Quarter Final competition of the International Championship of Collegiate Acapella held at Elon University, the UNC-G Spartones and App. State Another Level took 1st and 2nd place respectively over some other excellent groups and will advance to the Semi-Finals! These are GREAT voices and very good kids performing for a wonderful cause. Come see it! Collapse
