The UNC Clef Hangers

An all-male a cappella group from Chapel Hill, is coming to perform at T. Austin Finch Auditorium in Thomasville. One of the original founders of this group, then known as "The Morris Dorm Singers" is Tom Terrell, of High Point, an attorney practicing in Greensboro. The group has evolved into one of the most notable collegiate a cappella groups in the country, with award-winning CD's and bi-yearly sold-out performances at Memorial Hall in Chapel Hill. Their versatile style includes top 40, country, and rap, with a few oldies and classics mixed in.

 

Consisting only of undergraduates, the group maintains its quality by a stringent selection process as members graduate, to keep their unique sound current. Three of the 16 members are from the Triad:

David Hall of Greensboro, Steve McQuaid of Jamestown, and Ryan White of High Point. Others are from various parts of the nation and world. You can see more about them by visiting their website www.clefhangers.com.
