The University Galleries will host: Opening reception of the exhibition "Coming by Force, Overcoming by Choice". The reception will include dance and musical performances from members of the North Carolina A & T Visual and Performing Arts Department. Reception Location: Dudley Building, 1st Floor Multipurpose Room 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm ***exhibit will be available for viewing in the H.C. Taylor Gallery. The exhibit will showcase artwork from instructors, professors, and administrators of several historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) from across the nation. Exhibition Dates: January 30, 2009-March 6, 2009. Henry Clinton Taylor Gallery First Floor, Dudley Building Additional Events: Artist panel: Featuring Dr. Lee Ransaw, President of the NAAHBCU. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm First Floor, Dudley Building Multipurpose Room. Gallery Walkthrough led by the Director, Shawnya Harris Saturday, February 7, 2009 1st Floor, Dudley Building 1:00pm to 2:15 pm All Events are Free. Hours of Operation for University Galleries are Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm.
