Cindy Kallet and Grey Larsen have been stalwarts of the folk scene since the 70s. Cindy is one of the finest singers and guitarists of the New England folk scene. She has recorded four solo albums and albums with Gordon Bok and the trio Kallet, Epstein and Cicone. Grey Larsen first emerged onto the folk scene in a duo with hammer dulcimer player Malcolm Dalglish and later the trio Metamora with Dalglish and Pete Sutherland.
Both are multi-instrumentalists. Cindy also plays fiddle and Grey adds flute, concertina and fiddle as well. Grey is also a fine singer. There is something really special about this combination of musical talent. You're likely to hear Kallet's original songs along with traditional songs and tunes and tunes composed by Cindy and Grey.
Since Fiddle and Bow's formation in 1981 we have wanted to bring Cindy Kallet to our stage. We are particularly excited to be bringing her in with a partner as talented as Grey Larsen.
