Gospel music fans everywhere are “Lovin’ Life” as BILL GAITHER and his Homecoming Friends bring their inspirational music and message across America with the GAITHER HOMECOMING “LOVIN’ LIFE” TOUR 2009.  Hot on the heels of the release of their latest CD, LOVIN’ LIFE, The Gaither Vocal Band, along with a bevy of beloved Homecoming artists, share the classic and timely Gospel sounds of the Gaither phenomenon live with audiences in more than 32 cities. Few events have the ability to bring people together the way Gaither Homecoming concerts do. Year after year, Bill Gaither showcases the very best talent in the world of Gospel music, entertaining both young and old, and winning new fans with every performance. To call Mr. Gaither a music mogul might just be an understatement. In the fifteen years since gospel music pioneer Bill Gaither began recording his Homecoming series of videos, virtually everything the Grammy Award winner has touched has turned to gold...and platinum. Ninety-Nine of Gaither's Homecoming projects have achieved precious metal status, with four certified multi-platinum, 45 certified platinum and 50 selling gold. To date, Gaither Homecoming videos have sold more than 15 million units. Gaither comments, “Our audiences over the years have been so gracious and supportive that now, more than 40 years after quitting our day jobs as teachers to pursue music full-time, we are still shaking our heads at how far beyond our imagination this path has taken us.” Gaither adds, “We were just writing songs out of our daily struggles and questions… but apparently it struck a chord in the lives of real people like us. Awards, acclaim and gold albums cannot compare to the simple joy of being able to do what we love, after all these years, knowing that our work is still finding its way into the core of people’s lives.” In the tour produced by AEG LIVE, audiences can look forward to an evening of music and celebration featuring both fresh new sounds and classic favorites.
