Add Review/CommentThe Guilford College Department of Physics will present “The Sky is Falling,” a talk about meteors and meteor showers
Assistant Professor Don Smith will discuss the Leonid meteor shower that concludes Nov. 18 and preview the Geminid meteor shower that will take place in December, using the auditorium’s new multi-media planetarium projector.
The presentation will be followed by a tour of the college’s Cline Observatory and, weather permitting, viewing through the main telescope.
Joseph Bryan Jr. Auditorium is located in the Frank Family Science Center, accessible by the campus’s North Entrance (Arcadia Drive/George Fox Road).
