Annual 5K walk in downtown Winston-Salem to support women and child healthcare, educate the community and raise awareness for infant mortality and premature birth in the Triad. There will be food and drink, games and prizes and music and entertainment.
Grove Winery will once again host the Gears and Cheers Ride. The 44-acre farm features a small artisan winery and estate vineyards which are located on sloping, mineral-rich land in the Haw River Valley.
The event began in 2007 and attracts about 500 participants annually. Cyclists have their choice routes winding through beautiful Guilford, Rockingham and Caswell counties. Upon returning to the winery, participants enjoy lunch, wine-tasting, and live music.
One-on-one interaction with trained zoo professionals gives visitors a very real and personal glimpse into the lives of the keepers and animals alike. The talks are the perfect way to hear fun stories and learn interesting facts about the animals and get insight to what life is like as a zoo keeper.

The Fun Fourth Festival has been presented annually since 1975 as a community celebration of Independence Day for Guilford County and the Piedmont Triad. The festival is held in the Cultural District of Downtown Greensboro and at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.
